How do I set up my POP account in Outlook Express?
Start
Settings
Control Panel
Choose Mail Icon
Choose E-mail Accounts
Click on Next
If you do not have anything setup, then choose Add, if you
do then choose Change
Choose POP3
User Information Section
- Type in your name, and your email address
Logon Information Section
- Your User Name (when you log in)
- Your Password
Server Information Section
- Incoming mail server (whatever this is)
Example: If my company name was goodnews.com
The mail server name may be mail.goodnews.com, or
Mail.knowtechnology.net
- Outgoing mail server (your Internet
Service Providers server name
Example: If you have Time Warner it could be SMTP-Server.roadrunner.com
