Since I founded Know Technology 15 years ago, our primary purpose has been to help our clients take full advantage of Information Technology to benefit their business. Technology for technology's sake is not good for any organization.
Over the past several years several regional and national organizations have explored acquiring Know Technology based on our mature managed services practice, our professional services deployment capabilities, our data center operations, and most importantly the quality of our people.
Until engaging in talks with Enables IT, each discussion was focused on topics such as geographical region, contract volume, or how we would need to change operations moving forward.
The Enables IT discussion has been focused from the beginning on the synergy between our organizations offerings and how our processes and people are valued and will be integrated into the combined organization.
Expanded offerings, additional resources, familiar team – I could go on; the key is that we are confident that our clients will continue to receive the same great service we have been providing them for years, along with more capabilities as we offer additional services such as Enables IT infrastrucure as a service (IAAS) HAVEN, or 24x7 support available from multiple global network operations centers, as well as added value from a larger range of vendor partners.
Unlike many acquisitions, our management team will stay intact; we are being hired to help run the combined US operations. I will be taking on the role of Director of Business Development and Patrick Jones, Know Technology’s President will be taking on the role of President of North American operations.
This is a win for Enables IT, a win for Know Technology and more importantly a win for both organizations current and future clientele.
